Join us all day and explore both 3D Printing & Design AND Mechanical Engineering! This camp encourages an open-ended design concept. In 3D Printing and Design, campers will explore the concepts of 3D printing and CAD (computer-aided design) to bring their own creations to life! Campers will design a model in preparation for real 3D printing! Take it home and show off your creations to all your friends! The fun doesn’t end when camp does, campers can continue to improve their skills at home using the same modeling software with 24/7 access! During the other half of the day, campers will use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine a variety of machines and mechanical systems. They learn basics of fluid mechanics, simple machines, and other design and engineering concepts while constructing roller coasters, egg-drop vehicles, and more! Join us for a confidence-boosting week where campers develop the mindset, knowledge and processes they need to become bold, visionary innovators! Based on National Standards, our camps offer new and exciting hands-on experiences every week!
Cancellation request must be made in writing 14 calendars days prior to the start of the activity. $10 processing fee applies to each activity cancellation requested by the participant. No Refunds will be made for requests received LESS THAN 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
