Join the Food Explorers Club for a week of delicious discovery! Our hands-on summer camp invites young chefs to explore the joy of cooking and baking through fun, creative, and confidence-building kitchen adventures.Each day, campers will dive into new recipes featuring seasonal ingredients—measuring, mixing, chopping, and tasting their way through both savory and sweet creations. From colorful salads and pasta to muffins, flatbreads, and fruit-filled treats, kids will gain fundamental cooking skills while learning about healthy, balanced eating.
Led by enthusiastic instructors in a supportive, engaging environment, Food Explorers Club Summer Camp blends learning and fun into one flavorful experience. By week’s end, campers will take home new skills, favorite recipes, and a lifelong love of cooking and baking.

Refunds must be made in writing 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
A $10 Processing Fee applies to each activity cancellation requested by the participant.
NO REFUNDS will be made for requests received LESS THAN 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
If your child requires medication during program hours, a Medication Waiver must be completed for them to use the medication and/or receive assistance administering it while in the program. This includes items such as EpiPens, inhalers, and other prescribed medications. If this is not noted under Special Accommodations during registration, please email Krissy Marquez at Christine.marquez@sanjoseca.gov to communicate your child’s medication needs. This is a City-wide policy to ensure the safety and proper care of all participants during program hours.
