Step into the world of creativity and code with a course designed especially for the youngest programmers! Through playful exploration, students learn the fundamentals of coding while transforming their ideas into interactive digital creations.Students will bring their imagination to life with exciting projects such as the ""Starry Night"", where they code a sparkling sky, drawing and painting digital characters, forming a virtual band that makes music together, and designing a fun ""Hide & Seek"" project. Each activity blends art, storytelling, and problem-solving, giving students the perfect mix of creativity and coding. Beginner-friendly yet engaging for all levels, Junior Techies ensures every child feels challenged, inspired, and proud of what they create.
This course is beginner-friendly but designed to keep students of all levels challenged and engaged.? Code For Fun instructors bring expertise, energy, and a love of computer science to every session, making learning both fun and unforgettable.

Refunds must be made in writing 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
A $10 Processing Fee applies to each activity cancellation requested by the participant.
NO REFUNDS will be made for requests received LESS THAN 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
If your child requires medication during program hours, a Medication Waiver must be completed for them to use the medication and/or receive assistance administering it while in the program. This includes items such as EpiPens, inhalers, and other prescribed medications. If this is not noted under Special Accommodations during registration, please email Krissy Marquez at Christine.marquez@sanjoseca.gov to communicate your child’s medication needs. This is a City-wide policy to ensure the safety and proper care of all participants during program hours.
