Description
Space Robotics & Transportation.. Lots of fun learning in the morning, kids will be building and programming functional robots using LEGO® bricks in this super-fun program by learning about space, space travel and, of course, StarWars®! Later in the afternoon, children will explore the world of transportation and city building structures using tons of LEGO® bricks. Students will build models of their favorite forms of transportation as they learn about energy, wheels and axles air resistance, and more. They will also learn about the history and modern use of these vehicles, and apply this knowledge to their builds. Please pack extra/reusable water bottles, and NUT-FREE snacks/lunch.
Please bring a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and a nut-free snack and lunch each day. Participants should wear comfortable outdoor clothing and closed-toe shoes.
Sign-In/Out Policy:For safety, participants must be signed in and out by a parent or authorized adult (18+). An authorized adult must be present at drop-off and pick-up; parking lot drop-offs/pick-ups are not permitted.
Refund Policy: Written refund requests must be submitted at least 14 days before the activity start date and are subject to a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the start date per City policy.
Medication Policy: A Medication Waiver is required for any medication needed during program hours, including EpiPens and inhalers. Please contact staff if this was not indicated during registration.
