Channel your child's passion for gaming into coding with our "Game Design with MakeCode" course! Powered by Microsoft's innovative platform, students will learn fundamental coding concepts through the creation of their own virtual arcade games. From racing through space in "Star Collector" and "Cosmic Crashers", to dodging enemies in "Can't Catch Me!", testing reflexes in "Tap Attack", and popping bubbles in "Bubble Poppers", every project is designed to spark creativity and keep kids excited to learn. Along the way, students will pick up real coding concepts like events, loops, and sprite movement-all while designing fun, playable games they can share with friends and family.
Our code For Fun instructors make sure every class is engaging, hands-on, and supportive, whether your child is brand-new to coding or already experimenting on their own. By the end, your child won't just be playing games, they'll be designing them!This course is beginner -friendly but designed to keep students of all levels challenged and engaged. Code For Fun instructors bring expertise, energy and a love of computer science to every session, making learning both fun and unforgettable.
