About This Activity
Description
Get ready to defy gravity! In this camp, students will learn how to design, code, and publish their own Roblox games—this time with a thrilling “Gravity Rush” twist. Using Roblox Studio, students transform their favorite gameplay mechanics into interactive projects, learning how to make characters jump higher, fall faster, and move in ways that bend the rules of physics.Along the way, they’ll learn how to take advantage of Roblox’s physics engine to build interactive and engaging worlds. With fun projects like Anti-Gravity Jenga, Cannon Blaster and The Ice Rink of Doom, students will surely have a blast. Every new challenge builds logic, problem-solving, and creativity, while showing students how coding can literally change the game. This is not your typical coding class. With Roblox, students don’t just play—they create, experiment, and publish. By the end of camp, learners will have their own shareable “Gravity Rush”–inspired Roblox game to show off and play with friends. This course is beginner friendly but designed to challenge and engage students of all programming levels. Code For Fun instructors are experts in computer science and strive to make every session fun and exciting.
