Description
Studies show that when children learn a second language, there is a boost to cognitive growth, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Bilingual children also tend to be more empathetic and open-minded to other cultures. With numerous benefits to learning a second language, many parents want to know when and how to introduce a second language to their own children. This class will introduce you and your child to the Spanish language through age-appropriate activities, learning concepts, socialization skills, and fun! Through this class, you and your child will gain a basic understanding of Spanish letters, numbers, words, shapes, and colors! The goal is to have fun, participate, and learn through engaging activities such as dancing, singing, literature, art, and games! * Children need not be potty trained; please remember to bring extra clothing and diapers to class. Class Objective: To introduce parents and their children to a new language & to PRNS Sites & Staff.
