Bisvspeech@gmail.com Online and in person hybrid classes For the last two years, speech and debate across the country has primarily operated online. This includes classes and tournaments. This year, tournaments will most likely be a mix of online and in person. Our classes will reflect the national norm with both in person and online classes. This year students will need both online training as well as in person training for upcoming tournaments. Student can attend a maximum of two classes each week. Total of 4 hours each week. (Student who register for both speech and debate may attend a 3rd class a week. (This will be extra practice in either speech or debate class) Cost of Club: Speech or debate $1700 (Max 4hr) Speech and debate $1900 (Student may attend a 3rd class a week for extra practice in either speech or debate class max 6hr) Class times: In person classes at BASIS: 4pm-6pm Monday: Competitive Public Forum Speech (All Speech Students) Thursday: Speech (All Speech students) Public Forum Debate (All Students) Friday: Speech (High School Only) Online classes: Zoom (Links will be sent out closer to start date) In person classes at BASIS: 4pm-6pm Tuesday: Speech (All Speech Students) Public Forum Debate (All Students) Wednesday: 5pm 7pm - Speech (All Speech Students) Note: Non-high school speech students may attend 2 classes between Monday and Wednesday. High School students will get their own day to get individualized practices from the coaches on Thursday. High school’s students may also come Monday - Wednesday if they wish.
