UNREAL ENGINE GAME DEVELOPMENT CLUB Activity Organizer: Jun Zhuang and Yuling He Email: email@example.com; firstname.lastname@example.org Dates: Fridays Time: 4:00 PM–5:00 PM Grades: 9–12 Description: Students will be introduced to industry level techniques and tools for developing high quality, polished video games in a beginner friendly and fun way. By the end of the year, students will be able to, on their own, design, develop, and complete several professional level projects in multiple styles and genres of video games. Club members will utilize Unreal Engine and the C++ programming language, which will be taught during the year. No experience in either is necessary, though basic programming knowledge would be beneficial. In addition to developing video games in a collaborative environment, students will also learn about AI and graphics design and their uses in video games, as well as how to utilize modern and innovative tools such as Lumen and Nanite.
