Cadet Vets (9 to 10 year old) [July 13 - 17]Campers will learn the tools, tests & time it takes to care for the zoo animals. This camp will dive into the digestive, skeletal, muscular, respiratory & circulatory systems. We will set up an operation and stage a little bit of "surgery & diagnosis" as well.
Happy Hollow offers full-day camps for young animal enthusiasts throughout the summer for ages 5 to 13 years old. Camps are filled with interactive, educational activities, animal encounters, zoo tours & nature play opportunities. Every camp at Happy Hollow is uniquely themed to provide fun, hands-on learning experiences & memories that will last a lifetime. Each week of camp follow a different theme & incorporates a variety of age-appropriate activities & adventures.
Fee: Members $355.50 and non-Members $395
-Campers must wear closed-toe shoes for safety. One (1) camp shirt will be provided & campers are asked to wear the shirt each day to camp.
-Campers must bring their own cold lunch, 2 snacks & a refillable water bottle each day. Food is not available for purchase. Refrigeration & microwaves are not available for use.
-Sunblock must be applied at home before arriving at Happy Hollow. If you wish for your camper to re-apply, they will be given the opportunity to do so at lunch time. Staff will not be able to assist.
-Campers must be clear of any illness symptoms for 24 hours or more in order to attend camp. If a camper shows illness symptoms during camp, they must be picked up by an authorized adult within the hour.
-Refund & Transfer Policy:Refund & transfer requests will be given for requests made in writing at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program. No refunds or transfers will be made for cancellations less than 2 calendar weeks before the program start. There will be a $10 refund processing fee for each activity cancelled or transferred.
Retroactive requests for membership discounts will no longer be honored.
