About This Activity

Whether your child is a beginner or intermediate player, this program will improve their game and help them get more enjoyment from badminton. Our badminton program focuses on skill refinement as well as practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded badminton players. Equipment is limited so please bring your own racket.


Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
If a class is cancelled, the makeup session will be tentatively scheduled one week after the final class date.

Refunds must be made in writing 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
A $10 Processing Fee applies to each activity cancellation requested by the participant.
NO REFUNDS will be made for requests received LESS THAN 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
If your child requires medication during program hours, a Medication Waiver must be completed for them to use the medication and/or receive assistance administering it while in the program. This includes items such as EpiPens, inhalers, and other prescribed medications. If this is not noted under Special Accommodations during registration, please email Krissy Marquez at Christine.marquez@sanjoseca.gov to communicate your child’s medication needs. This is a City-wide policy to ensure the safety and proper care of all participants during program hours.
