The perfect first step into coding and robotics!In this class, students begin their journey into computer science with Bee-Bot® robots. Participants will discover what algorithms are, learn about the different parts of a computer, and work together to create a city for their Bee-Bots to explore.These kid-friendly Bee-Bot® robots provide a playful environment for children to naturally discover and learn. Through fun challenges and guided activities, Code Bee-ginner builds curiosity, confidence, and excitement for coding in an approachable way.Code For Fun instructors are experts in computer science and strive to make every session fun and engaging for all students.Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing with closed-toe shoes.
If a class is canceled, the makeup class will be scheduled one week after the final class date.

For safety, all participants must be signed in and out by a parent or authorized adult (18+). An authorized adult must be present at drop-off and pick-up. Parking lot drop-offs and pick-ups are not permitted.
Parents/guardians may not attend class or remain in the program space during program hours. Please return at the scheduled end time for pick-up.
Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing with closed-toe shoes.
If a class is canceled, the makeup class will be scheduled one week after the final class date. Please plan accordingly, as prorates or refunds are not provided for missed or canceled classes.
Cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing at least 14 days before the activity start date. A $10 processing fee applies. No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the start date.
A Medication Waiver is required for any participant needing medication during program hours, including EpiPens and inhalers. If medication is listed as a special accommodation, a staff member will follow up. Since the approval process can take time, families are encouraged to contact Camden Community Center in advance to get started.
