About This Activity
Description
Our 'Engineering with Sphero Robots" course is not just another robotic course - it's an adventure for children aged 9-12 that seamlessly blends coding, robotics and storytelling. This unique learning experience utilizes Sphere BOLT, a dynamic coding robotic ball equipped with programmable sensors and a vibrant LED light matrix. Here, imagination is the key to innovation. Students create animated characters and construct narratives, transforming coding and robotic movement into a form of artistic expression. The hands-on curriculum also involves crafting obstacle course and bridges, fostering a practical understanding of design principles. Through these activities, students learn not just to create, but to test, refine, and improve their creations - an essential iterative process in STEM fields. This course doesn't merely teach students how to program a robot - it inspires creativity, instills a love for learning, and nurtures future innovators.
