Come and Explore the bounty of summer-fresh, local, colorful ingredients and have a blast every day of the camp, discovering how easy and fun it is to cook and bake from scratch.Highlights of Food Explorers ClubKids at Food Explorers Club will explore fresh, new, and nutritionally delicious recipes from Around the Globe. Young chefs will learn Scratch-Baking Basics and how to make everything from pita bread to lemon tarts, challah to cornbread, and more. Cooking and science are a match made in...the kitchen! Young chefs will explore the many connections between cooking and Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math(STEAM). Young chefs will also learn what makes certain ingredients so super for the body and how delicious they can taste while practicing basic cooking skills and techniques on their way to becoming super chefs! How does that Food get on the Table? We will discover how our food goes from ingredient to recipe to table.
