About This Activity
Description
This co-ed class is designed for players to learn and develop a basic understanding of volleyball. The class will include instruction in the basic skills of serving, passing, setting, attacking and blocking. The class will also cover tactical skills of basic volleyball offensive and defensive play and well as the rules and scoring.
Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
If a class is cancelled, the makeup session will be tentatively scheduled one week after the final class date.

Refund and transfer requests must be submitted in writing at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.A $10 Processing Fee applies to each activity cancellation requested by the participant, with no exceptions.NO REFUNDS will be issued for requests received less than 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity. This includes last-minute transfer requests due to class cancellations.This is a City-wide policy and applies to all community centers.
If your child requires medication during program hours, a Medication Waiver must be completed for them to use the medication and/or receive assistance administering it while in the program. This includes items such as EpiPens, inhalers, and other prescribed medications. If this is not noted under Special Accommodations during registration, please email Krissy Marquez at Christine.marquez@sanjoseca.gov to communicate your child’s medication needs. This is a City-wide policy to ensure the safety and proper care of all participants during program hours.
