Students will explore and learn the foundational components to grow their own gardens at home or in the community. Students will explore ecosystem health and their ability to grow healthy, thriving plants for an edible garden. Students will explore how seeds, plants, weather, insects, water, and soil have the potential to grow into healthy, thriving plants for their garden. Students will learn about types of growing grounds to include large farms, family gardens, and small containers for food production.Activity Category
