Cross Country Instructor/Coach: Andy DiConti Assistant Coach: Eric Lew Grades: 6-12 Fall and Spring Semesters: June 9 to July 18, 2024 Days & Times: Daily, 4 pm at Lacy Park Learn the fundamentals of cross country running. In this class you will enhance muscle strength and aerobic endurance by road running, track workouts, weight training, and mobility work. Have fun and get into shape! This is a program for students of all levels, as they will be running from 10 to 45 miles per week. Students that are looking to participate in cross country during the school year are highly recommended to participate in this program, as it has been proven that members who are used to the training by summer will perform better during competitions in the fall. The class is for Cross Country Base Training to build the foundation needed for the regular season in the fall. Prerequisites: Must be able to run 2 and a half miles minimum to join the class Location: Lacy Park Fee: $200
