Group lessons offer swimmers the chance to learn from our instructors with the support and encouragement of their peers. For our lower levels we utilize our Jr. Lifeguards as swim buddies so that each child receives individual attention the whole lesson. Please note: Camp staff will escort campers to group lessons that take place between 10:45-11:50am.Required Skills: Mastery in freestyle, side breathing, and backstroke. Proficiency in breaststroke and butterfly.Week at a glance: A taste of swim team. Swimmers will work on flip turns, break out dives and long distance swimming.
All refund requests must be made in writing or emailed to csd@marinwood.org. Cancellations made on or before the Wednesday prior to the beginning of the swim lesson will result in a $10 cancellation fee for block lessons and $2 cancellation fee for individual weekend lessons. Cancellations made after the Wednesday prior to the beginning of the start of the lesson will result in the forfeiture of half the swim lesson fee. No refunds will be granted once a swim lesson session has begun.
To help cut down on confusion please come ten minutes early to the first day of a new session. All parents and friends must stay back away from the edge of the pool while lessons are in progress.
