Lifeguard Certification Training ClassThis Blended Learning course includes certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED for Lifeguards, and Bloodborne Pathogens. The certification is valid for two years upon completion.
Registration Deadline: Thursday, March 12th by 4pm.
Blended Learning Course Format (7.5 hours of Online Learning). Students must complete the online learning portion of the course prior to the first in-person session and must bring proof of online learning completion.
Location: Paul Nelson Aquatic Center, 620 S. McClelland St.
Onsite In-Person Sessions (Must Attend 5-Days):Monday March 16th 9:00AM-3:00PM (30 min lunch)Tuesday March 17th 9:00AM-3:00PM (30 min lunch)Wednesday March 18th 9:00AM-3:00PM (30 min lunch)Thursday March 19th 9:00AM-3:00PM (30 min lunch)Friday March 20th 9:00AM-3:00PM (30 min lunch)
Prerequisites for Lifeguard Training Include:-Student must be at least 15 years old by the last day of class.-Student must pass a pre-course swimming skills test prior to taking the lifeguarding in-person sessions. This will be conducted on the first day of on-site training.
