Description
Get ready for Spring Baseball 2026 with Santa Monica Baseball Academy! Players will have an official league mock tryout to prepare for league player evaluations for 2026! We will work with players on fielding techniques, hitting techniques, pitching and catching to prepare for the upcoming season! SMBA offers quality instruction for ALL LEVELS of baseball. Instructions will be given by professional baseball coaches. Players will practice pitching, catching, hitting, fielding and base running. This developmental program is designed with a direct emphasis on learning the primary fundamentals that lay down the foundation for elite play in baseball & softball. Players will be grouped by age and ability.
Players should wear baseball/softball attire daily, including hats and cleats, sunscreen and water for hydration. Lunch is available for order thru Subway with delivery at noon.
$20 cash material fee payable to instructor at camp.
Participants must bring a baseball glove, sunscreen, snack, lunch, and plenty of water for hydration. Players must bring 2-4 water bottles to camp for proper hydration. Players need to be hydrated at all times and local water fountains are not guaranteed to be operational during camp, nor staff responsible for providing water during camp. Bats, softball pants and socks are encouraged but not required. Catchers must bring their own gear.
SMSBA professional coaches are subject to availability and at the discretion of SMSBA for any and all camps and classes.
The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.
Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made by email to community.classes@santamonica.gov. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
