Cooking Creations is an elevated, hands-on culinary experience thoughtfully designed for our youngest chefs. In this engaging and nurturing environment, children will explore the art of cooking through tactile learning — measuring, mixing, shaping, and plating — while building foundational kitchen skills and confidence.
Throughout the week, campers will prepare a curated selection of both sweet and savory recipes, introducing them to flavor, technique, and presentation in an age-appropriate and inspiring way. Each child will design and personalize their own recipe book and apron, beautifully capturing the memories and creations from the week. These keepsakes will be presented on the final day of camp. Daily tasting portions will be sent home to share!
Kindly notify us of any food allergies prior to the start of camp to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
$30 Material Fee - Payable to instructor on first day of camp.
Campers should bring:
- Daily - Please pack a healthy lunch and drink daily.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays - Water fun days with outdoor splash activities. On these days, campers should bring a swimsuit and towel!
Children must be able to attend camp on their own. Children will not be permitted with a runny nose or cough.
LATE FEES:
Late pick-up fees apply to the 12:30pm pick up time:
1. 5-15 minutes late $20.00
2. 16-30 minutes late $40.00
3. 30 mins-1hr late $50.00
Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made by email to community.classes@santamonica.gov. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
