About This Activity
Description
Children learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time experimenting with super cool red-hot robots. They discover the science circuits and how robots use sensors to explore things around them. They build their very own working automaton to take home with them! (8-12yrs. only)
Please bring water, a healthy snack, and lunch. $45 material fee payable to Mad Science on the first day of camp. Closed-toed shoes and sunscreen encouraged.
The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.
Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made by email to communityclasses@smgov.net. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
