Description
Step into the gates, strap on your seatbelt, and come join the Egghead Amusement Park Engineering Team! Every day at camp, Eggheads will try to pass a new LEGO engineering challenge by designing, building, and then testing crazy rides and attractions .Using a wide variety of LEGO™ bricks and specialty pieces, we'll build huge spinning Merry Go-Rounds, Mega Ferris Wheels, Water Slides, Drop Towers, and everything in between as we design giant Amusement Parks! Then, we'll test our creations like a real theme park engineering team by spinning, sliding, and breaking down our builds. At the end of the week, Eggheads will be ready to engineer their way through anything!
$80 material fee payable to Professor Egghead on the first day of camp. Please bring a healthy lunch, snack and drink, and wear comfortable clothing.
The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.
REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made by email to community.classes@santamonica.gov. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
