About This Activity
Description
Learn all the basics of robotics including gears, motors, circuits, and more! Students design amazing robots that can move on their own, using STEM manipulatives such as LEGO's, K'nex, and Zoob kits! Additionally, you will build and take home 2 awesome robots!
Additionally, campers should bring a nut-free snack and a bottle of water. $35 lab fee payable to the instructor on the first day of camp.
The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.
Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made by email to communityclasses@smgov.net. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
