About This Activity
Description
1Soul of Cali is a creative haven for kids and kids at heart, rooted in dance, storytelling, teamwork and performance. Each class engages students of all levels in a rich balance of:
- Stamina building cardio
- Stretching and strengthening
- Coordination & memory exercises
- Rhythm & pattern recognition
- Collaborative creation with peers & instructor
- Hiphop/pop choreography & Freestyle to feel good music
SOC emphasizes the value of each unique individual, fostering self confidence, while celebrating diversity, unity, and the power of dedicated teamwork. Dancers who attend any or all sessions in fall, winter, and spring will have the opportunity to perform 1-5 times during the school year for family friends and the community.

Please bring a water bottle and dress in comfortable clotheing and sneakers. Please no sandals or crocs.
Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
