Does your Body Move when you hear the Soundtracks of "Coco" or "The Book of Life"? Well then this is the dance class for you! Ballet Folklorico is folk dance from Mexico and Latin America, and is composed of ballet steps and musical pieces that reflect the history and traditions of the area. Ballet is one of the most graceful dance styles. It strengthens balance, flexibility, rhythm, gross motor skills and self-discipline. Ballet techniques, positions, and movements are the base of Ballet Folklorico.
Please wear comfortable clothes to dance in.
Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
