Description
Are you curious how the classic plays the 'The Crucible' by Arthur Miller are connected to contemporary hits like Kimberly Belflower's 'John Proctor is the Villain'? This playreading group will meet to read and dig into famous classics and exciting contemporary plays in conversation with them. If you love theater, this is an opportunity to be part of a lively discussion about what makes the classics timeless and inspires today's playwrights to offer audiences challenging new ideas.There will be an option to see a play or reading currently running in Los Angeles. Includes materials.

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Miles Playhouse office at milesplayhouse@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the participant. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
