Description
WEEK 5: Storytelling and Puppets. The children keep expanding their vocabulary in Spanish at the same time as they are expressing their imagination in fun activities like puppets and stories. The kids will be able to create their own puppet. They will be able to interact with other friends creating cool dialogues and stories to dramatize with their own puppet. The youngster will explore and experience basic principles of puppeteers including marionettes, ventriloquism, and shadow puppets. The children will enjoy fun stories looking for amusing characters, adventurous places and creating their own ending of each story. Youngest children are expected to be potty trained.
Material Fee: $30.00 to be paid to the Instructor on the First day of Class
The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.
Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
