Description
School’s out, but Spanish is in! This special one-day Spanish immersion camp invites children to spend the day learning, creating, playing, and connecting through Spanish.
Through our Theme-Based Project Curriculum™, children explore Spanish through hands-on projects, storytelling, art, music and movement, multicultural cooking, outdoor play, and experiences in our Garden of Dreams.
Children are grouped by age when appropriate, with activities adapted to their developmental stage and Spanish level. While exploring a shared Thanksgiving theme, each group enjoys age-appropriate opportunities to learn, create, play, and express ¿Por qué estoy agradecido?
Please Bring: Lunch, snack, and water.
Requirements:
- No previous Spanish experience is required.
- Younger children must be fully potty trained.
- $50.00 Material Fee per child paid directly to the instructor. ( Single-Day/ Walkup Fee of $30.00)
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
