Description
A 3-hour camp designed for competitive players from elementary through high school. While this camp is open to competitive players of all levels- from emerging to varsity level we will ensure quality play by grouping players by level on separate courts and in matches to ensure competitive matchups.
Players who have not yet played matches but meet the prerequisite of consistency can register for this camp and will be grouped separately and taught to keep score-play matches/tiebreakers The camp begins with drills and conditioning, followed by coach-guided matches in both singles and doubles and ends with competitive group games. Matches may be submitted as verified UTR matches (free of charge) if all players in a match agree before the match begins.
Skill Prerequisite: Know the basics of all strokes(serve, forehand, backhand, volley)-be able to

Players must bring a racquet to class and wear non-marking shoes.
The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
