Inspired by parent-and-me swim classes, this class gives our youngest players a fun and comfortable introduction to tennis with a parent or trusted adult as their partner in every activity. Taught by the USTA award-winning Santa Monica Tennis Collective, children and adults participate together in age-appropriate games that build hand-eye coordination, balance, movement, and early racquet skills. Having a trusted adult on court helps young children feel secure and engaged while also giving families simple activities they can continue practicing together at home. All equipment is provided.
Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
