Advanced youth players focus on live point play through drills and games to sharpen tactics, shot selection, and mental toughness.
PREREQUISITES
Players should meet any (not all) of the following:
- Know how to play a full match
- Be on a school team, a USTA Jr Team Tennis team, or compete in UTR
- Be able to maintain a 10-20 ball rally
- Free evaluation available on weekends at Santa Monica High School- contact Debbie (310) 430-1962
Players must bring a racquet to class and wear non-marking shoes.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
