A joyful Spanish playgroup designed for toddlers and their caregivers. Children explore Spanish through songs, movement, storytelling, puppets, and sensory play in a warm and engaging environment. Guided by our Theme-Based Curriculum Project, young learners are introduced to Spanish vocabulary through playful routines, music, and hands-on activities including our Garden of Dreams.
Children also interact with Rosita, our classroom puppet friend, who helps connect Spanish words to daily routines and playful learning experiences.
Caregiver participation is encouraged to help children follow activities and enjoy a positive early language experience.
$30 material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class.
Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
