About This Activity
Description
Spanish Adventure Immersion is an engaging Spanish language program for children ages 3–10, where Spanish comes to life through our Theme-Based Project Curriculum.
Each session is thoughtfully designed around weekly seasonal themes connected to our Theme-Based Project Curriculum, allowing children to experience Spanish through meaningful, age-appropriate, class dived by age,real-life learning experiences. Children develop their Spanish naturally through songs, games, storytelling, art, music, movement, cultural activities, hands-on projects, puppets , cooking, and experiences in our Community Garden – Garden of Dreams.
Our curriculum is progressive and cumulative. As children experience each season and advance to the next level, they encounter new themes, activities, and challenges while continuing to build on what they have already learned. Vocabulary, expressions, listening comprehension, and communication skills are reinforced and expanded from session to session. Little by little, children develop the confidence and language skills they need to understand and use Spanish naturally to communicate.
We create our own educational materials and activities based on each theme, the season, and the children’s experiences. This helps children connect Spanish vocabulary and expressions with what they see, create, explore, and experience.
Families also have access to Google Classroom, where children can continue practicing and reinforcing Spanish at home through songs, vocabulary, stories, videos, and complementary activities connected to each week’s theme.
Each session culminates in a Final Presentation & Open House, where children have the opportunity to share what they have learned, experienced, and created with their families and our community. Please bring water and a snack. Younger children must be potty trained.
