About This Activity
Description
The class promotes the development of essential early childhood skills like imagination, self-confidence, motor skills, socialization, separation-adjustment process, and the natural acquisition of the Spanish language. Children are exposed to a variety of daily activities and games that stimulate their natural intelligence and talent. Through the use of language teaching strategies, elaboration of material, and the incorporation of a positive environment among students and teachers, learning Spanish is more efficient, natural, successful and enjoyable for all children.
Children must be ready to attend class on their own and be potty trained. Parents/caregivers are required to be a teacher's helper on various occasions. Please bring a snack and lunch.
NO CLASS on 1/19 Materials Fee of $50.00 due on the first day of class.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be made by email to community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES will be made up at the end of the session. Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
