Parent & Me - for ages 6 months to 3 years
This class is designed for parent-child interaction and focuses on acquainting a child with the water through play and song. Emphasis is placed on teaching parents techniques to stimulate development of their child's fundamental introductory skills such as bubble blowing, floating, kicking and beginning arm motions. Additionally, emphasis is also placed on overall comfortability in the water.
Swim diapers are required for participants who are not potty-trained.
Swim assessments to determine the appropriate level for your child are available during our recreational swim hours. If you are new to our program, a swim assessment is strongly encouraged to ensure your child is placed in the right level.
Additionally, with the exception of Parent & Me classes, parents are not allowed in the water for any lesson and are encouraged to remain clear of the lesson area to ensure the quality of each individual lesson. Only those on the instructor’s roster will be permitted in the class and attending a different class time is not permitted. All participants must attend the class and class time in accordance with their original registration unless approved for a transfer to a different class/time.
Those interested in lap swimming during swim lessons must inquire with the front desk prior to entering the water to ensure adequate space and to pay for their swim. There is no recreational swimming during swim lesson hours.
Refunds/Transfers – Refunds and transfer requests must be received within 24 hours of the start of a session and will only be accepted with a completed Transfer/Refund Request Form. This form can be found on our website. Each refund transaction is subject to a $15.00 fee, no exceptions.
Swim lessons will not be held on the following dates for the Spring Session:
