About This Activity

Snook, pufferfish, and seahorses, oh my! Invertebrates aren't the only inhabitants of the Bay. Let’s explore the different Bony Fish species that call this estuary home. This class includes seine netting in Sarasota Bay, a fish anatomy lesson, and the construction of your own fishy field guide to take home. It’s going to be a fin-tastic time! This class includes a water program. Please come prepared to get wet and be in the sun (your confirmation email will have detailed suggestions on what to wear and bring). Closed-toe water shoes are required for all water programs. Registration closes two days prior to class. Please note: our Homeschool Days are extremely popular and typically fill 2-3 weeks prior to the class date.
