About This Activity
How can we feed the world while helping the planet? Sustainable Aquaculture! During this class we will learn about the amazing strides Mote has made in the world of aquaculture, try some edible plants (optional of course), and explore Sarasota Bay! This class includes a water portion. Please come prepared to get wet and be in the sun. This class includes a water program. Students will wade into Sarasota Bay to catch and release animals. Please come prepared to get wet and be in the sun (your confirmation email will have detailed suggestions on what to wear and bring). Closed toe water shoes are required for all water programs. Registration closes two days prior to class. Please note: our Homeschool Days are extremely popular and typically fill 2-3 weeks prior to the class date.
