About This Activity
Who goes there?: Welcome to the wild world of camouflage! The oceans are filled with organisms that blend in to survive. From scorpion fish to seahorses, flounders to nudibranchs, this week campers will get to uncover what makes each so unique! Campers may register for a morning AND afternoon session to make a full day of environmental fun at Mote! Full-day campers will bring a nut-free lunch and enjoy a supervised lunch break with fellow campers from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Note: Given the heat and frequent afternoon storms in the summer here, our afternoon camps have limited water activities of our morning camps. Instead, campers will spend more time keeping cool indoors, while still exploring the Marine Mammal Center. Weather-permitting, campers will spend time outdoors, with bay walks and other adventures on City Island.
