The oceans have been explored for thousands of years and there is still so much scientists don't know! This week, campers will learn about the famous oceanographers that started it all and run their own experiments to answer their own questions. Note: Given the heat and frequent afternoon storms in the summer here, our afternoon camps have limited water activities of our morning camps. Instead, campers will spend more time keeping cool indoors, while still exploring the Marine Mammal Center. Weather-permitting, campers will spend time outdoors, with bay walks and other adventures on City Island. Campers may register for a morning AND afternoon session to make a full day of environmental fun at Mote! Full-day campers will bring a nut-free lunch and enjoy a supervised lunch break with fellow campers from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
