Become a champion for sustainable fisheries! Campers will explore the delicate balance of fishing and conservation, learning how to ensure we have healthy fish populations for the future. Engage in fishing excursions, water activities, and hands-on conservation projects to become a guardian of our oceans' resources. This camp has water days Tuesday-Friday that include dip netting, snorkeling, and kayaking. SWIMMING SKILLS REQUIRED Campers will participate in water activities Tuesday through Thursday. These activities include snorkeling, field sampling, and kayaking. Campers will receive instruction and guidance for all water-based activities. A certified lifeguard will be in the water with camp groups at all times. This camp also includes tours of Mote Aquarium and Marine Mammal Center. Campers may register for a morning AND afternoon session to make a full day of STEM fun at Mote! Full-day campers will bring a nut-free lunch and enjoy a supervised lunch break with fellow campers from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
