About This Activity
Do you dream of becoming a wildlife warrior? Campers will learn about animal rescue and rehabilitation efforts that happen here at Mote. We will meet rescued wildlife, participate in rescue simulations, and discover how they can make a difference in the lives of animals in need. This camp includes one water day in the bay. Note: Given the heat and frequent afternoon storms in the summer here, our afternoon camps do have limited water activities of our morning camps. Instead, campers will spend more time keeping cool indoors, while still exploring Mote Aquarium and Marine Mammal Center. Weather-permitting, campers will spend time outdoors, with bay walks and other adventures on City Island (where Mote Marine Aquarium is located!). Campers may register for a morning AND afternoon session to make a full day of STEM fun at Mote! Full-day campers will bring a nut-free lunch and enjoy a supervised lunch break with fellow campers from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
