The South Shore Shamrocks are back for Season 2 — and this year, we’re rolling into summer with the Scituate Recreation Department for an even bigger and better season!
Over six action-packed weeks (June 22 – July 31), players will compete in fast-paced games filled with energy, teamwork, and hometown spirit — all leading up to the Shamrock Cup Tournament on August 8, featuring food trucks, music, merch, and more!
Divisions & Schedule:
• Grades 2 – 3: Sneakers Division — Monday games 5-7pm starting 6/22
- This division plays street hockey (on foot, not skates). Required equipment: Sneakers, helmet, hockey gloves, hockey stick. Optional, but recommended: Shin guards, elbow pads and cup.
• Grades 4 – 5: Inline Division — Wednesdays games 5-7pm starting 6/24
- This division plays roller hockey. Required equipment: Inline skates, helmet, hockey gloves and hockey stick. Optional, but recommended: hockey pants/pads, shin guards, elbow pads, mouthguard and cup.
• Grades 6 – 8: Inline Division — Fridays 5-7pm starting 6/26
- This division plays roller hockey. Required equipment: Inline skates, helmet, hockey gloves and hockey stick. Optional, but recommended: hockey pants/pads, shin guards, elbow pads, mouthguard and cup.
Each team plays once per week, culminating in the Shamrock Cup where teams battle for the championship title and summer bragging rights.
With weekly games, an exciting tournament finale, and plenty of smiles in between, this is a season your kids won’t forget. Come join the fun — play hard, have fun, and go Shamrocks! 6 weeks. Fee: $139 - includes personalized t-shirt, 6 weeks of games and entry to the end of season Shamrock Cup Tournament!
