Description
Summer Band Program at the Black Box Theater at Gates Middle School.
This fun summer program is open to students entering Grades 5-8 who currently play a
band instrument in our SPS band program. Join us for a fun and relaxed experience, continue
progress on your instrument, meet new friends and enjoy making music! Students in this program
will participate in : Concert Band, Small Group Ensembles, and Team Building Activities.
Instructors: SPS Music Teachers: Mr. Andy Loretz, Mr. Adam Gruschow, Ms. Laura Counter &
Mr. Jim Thomas.
The program will conclude with a Friday concert for family and friends! Family and friends are invited
to the concert starting at 1:30pm on Friday 8/14.
Students should bring a nut-free bagged lunch and snack Monday-Thursday. There will be
a pizza party on Friday prior to the concert! Fee: $275
Monday - Thursday: August 10 - August 13. 9:00am-2:00pm
Friday: August 14 1:00pm - 2:30pm
