About This Activity
Description
This program is designed to guide youth ages 10-12 into the Jr. Lifeguard program. This program will teach water safety and is an introduction to the duties and responsibilities of a lifeguard. This course will NOT certify participants to be a lifeguard. It will build a foundation of knowledge, attitudes and skills in preparation for the Jr. Lifeguard and Starguard Lifeguard Certification courses. Successful course completion requires participation in skills practice.Sub-Activities
