This class is an introduction to Graphic Design. Students will learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop to create unique logos and stickers that they design. The class will also introduce the students to color theory and the elements of design to make their work dynamic. This class will utilize many medias including digital design, illustration, painting, and drawing. Melissa Dold currently teaches art at Seattle Prep and has a studio in SODO. She has a BFA from University of Washington and an MFA from Boston University in Painting. She has been teaching art for ten years in community colleges, the New York City public schools, and through various organizations. She loves helping students learn new techniques and develop their own creative vision. Kyle Cook currently teaches art at the Seattle Girls' School and Pratt Fine Arts Center. He has a BA from Lynchburg College and an MFA from Boston University in Painting. He has been teaching art for the last three years in community colleges and through arts organizations. He is excited to spend his summer helping students create art. *Campers enrolled in a full day of camps will have supervised lunch on campus after morning session and prior to being walked to their afternoon session.
