About This Activity
Our Foundations class is for beginners with no previous music experience. We’ll teach you what you need to know about your instrument of choice in this awesome year long class. You will be learning the basics and playing songs within weeks! Please note this a three-quarter class, and to get the best experience, we strongly encourage students to participate for the entire year. PROGRAM DETAILS Dates: - Fall Quarter: October 5th, 2024 - December 14th, 2024 - Winter Quarter: January 11, 2025 - March 22, 2025 - Spring Quarter: March 29, 2025 - June 7, 2025 Day/Time: Saturdays @ 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Location: Seattle JazzED (380 Boren Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109) Instruments Offered: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Violin, and Cello INSTRUMENT SELECTION PROCESS In order to be able to participate in our Foundations class, each new and incoming student is required to attend Meet Your Instrument Day on Sunday, September 22nd from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM This is a mandatory event for all program participants unless they attended our Summer Jazz Foundations Camp prior. We will send a reminder email closer to the event.
