About This Activity
***This camp is held in Sequim Bay at the John Wayne Marina*** Beginner class designed for our youngest sailors. Play focused and experience based learning designed to introduce boating in a controlled environment. Topics will include safety around docks, how to wear life jackets and wet suits, and basic boat handling. Sailors will build up to sailing our 8 ft Opti’s as teams of two by the end of the week. For sailors that are 8 years old but will be turning 9 before the fall season Opti Little Fry will allow your sailor to join the Opti Sailing Team. Please speak to your camp instructor if you are interested in this option.
