About This Activity
Instructor: Sam Futrovsky, Sewickley Academy Join us this summer for a week of lacrosse camp! Learn the Sewickley lacrosse way while getting a high quantity of high quality reps! It is our mission to provide a fun, challenging, and safe environment that teaches players about the great game of lacrosse, develops skills and teamwork, and leaves players wanting more. Camp is open to players of all different experience levels. Participants will get the opportunity to work with everyone as well as with other players who are alike in both age and ability. At the end of the week campers will be able to test their skills during contests, and prizes will be awarded. Lacrosse is a full contact sport and this program will have games and drills where contact will happen. Participants must come fully equipped with their own stick, helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, and arm pads. Players should also have a mouth guard, wear cleats, and bring a water bottle daily. A limited number of full equipment sets are available on a first-come first-serve basis to be loaned to families as needed. Each player will receive a practice jersey, and water coolers will be available for refilling bottles.
