About This Activity
Description
At the Y, swimming is a life skill. Our swim lessons prepare kids of all ages to stay safe and have fun in the water, building strong swimmers and confident kids. In the pre-school age swim program, swimmers will develop personal water safety and basic swimming skills. As the swimmer progresses, strokes are introduced and techniques begin to be refined using an age appropriate approach. Stage 1-Water Acclimation - Increases comfort with underwater exploration and introduces basic self-rescue skills performed with assistance. Children will learn to float, and glide on their fronts. They will work on gliding on their backs with assistance, and work on their self-rescue skills to move independently in the water.
Due to high demand for swim lessons and administrative time for processing and enrollment, full refunds are not offered after the session begins.
